Power steering oil pump (4JJ3) reassembly

Tightening torque

1: 37 N・m { 3.8 kgf・m / 27 lb・ft }

6: 21 N・m { 2.1 kgf・m / 15 lb・ft }

8: 16 N・m { 1.6 kgf・m / 12 lb・ft }

1) Apply power steering fluid to the O-ring and washer.

2) Install the O-ring and the suction pipe to the power steering oil pump.

Tightening torque: 16 N・m { 1.6 kgf・m / 12 lb・ft }

3) Temporarily tighten the joint and washer to the power steering oil pump.

4) Install the joint bracket to the power steering oil pump.

Tightening torque: 21 N・m { 2.1 kgf・m / 15 lb・ft }

5) Final tighten the joint and washer to the power steering oil pump.

Tightening torque: 37 N・m { 3.8 kgf・m / 27 lb・ft }
