1. Preliminary procedures

1) Open the engine hood.

2) Disconnect the battery cable from the battery negative terminal.

Caution

  • After turning OFF the ignition switch (power mode for models with passive entry and start system), do not disconnect the battery cable within 3 minutes.
  • If the battery cable is disconnected within 3 minutes, the vehicle electronic control system may malfunction.
  • If the battery cable is disconnected, perform the setting of the front door power window switch with AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN function after connecting the battery negative terminal.

2. Rear door power window switch removal

1) Remove the armrest from the rear door trim pad.

2) Remove the rear door power window switch from the rear door trim pad.

3) Disconnect the connector from the rear door power window switch.

3. Rear door trim pad removal

1) Remove the rear door upper cover from the rear door.

2) Open the garnish and cover with a small flathead screwdriver, etc., and remove the screws.

3) Pull out the clips of the rear door trim panel.

4) Remove the rear door trim pad from the rear door.

Caution

  • When removing, be careful not to let the door lock cover open because the door lock cable is connected to the inside lever.

5) Disconnect the door lock cable from the inside lever.

4. Rear door speaker removal

1) Disconnect the connector from the rear door speaker.

2) Remove the rear door speaker from the rear door.
