1. Auto tensioner inspection

1) Inspect the following parts for deformation or other abnormal conditions.

Note

  • Replace as a set if an abnormal condition is found in any of the parts.
  • Bolt
  • Spacer
  • Dust cover

2) Inspect the following parts for deformation or other abnormal conditions.

Note

  • Replace the idle pulley as a set if an abnormal condition is found.
  • Pulley and bearing
  • Shaft

Legend

  1. Bolt
  2. Spacer
  3. Dust cover
  4. Pulley and bearing
  5. Shaft

3) Inspect the auto tensioner for the following.

  • Wear
  • Damage

Note

  • Replace the auto tensioner if an abnormal condition is found.
