2. Rear tongue side seat belt installation

1. Crew cab

1) Install the rear tongue side seat belt to the vehicle.

Tightening torque: 8.2 N・m { 0.8 kgf・m / 73 lb・in } M6 bolt

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft } Except M6 bolt

Legend

  1. Rear tongue side seat belt (RH)
  2. Rear tongue side seat belt (CTR)
  3. Rear tongue side seat belt (LH)

2) Return the seat back to the upright position.

3) Pass the rear tongue side seat belt through the seat belt guide, connect the seat belt guide to the rear seat headrest.

2. Extend cab

1) Install the rear tongue side seat belt to the rear pillar.

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft }

2) Install the seat belt upper anchor bolt to the rear pillar.

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft }

3. Rear tongue side seat belt (center) connect

1. Crew cab

1) Pull out the rear tongue side seat belt (center) so that latch plate B faces the center of the vehicle.

Note

  • Pull out the rear tongue side seat belt (center) without twisting.

2) Insert latch plate A into buckle A until a clicking sound can be heard.

3) Pull the rear tongue side seat belt (center) in the direction of the arrow, and check that latch plate A and buckle A are securely fixed.

4. Rear pillar trim cover installation

1. Crew cab

1) Install the rear pillar lower trim cover to the rear pillar.

2. Extend cab

1) Install the rear pillar lower trim cover to the rear pillar.

2) Install the seat belt lower anchor bolt to the floor panel.

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft }

3) Install the rear end trim cover to the body panel.

5. Rear end upper trim cover installation

1) Install the rear end upper trim cover to the body panel.

Models without center top tethers (bracket type)

6. Rear door finisher installation

1. Crew cab

1) Install the rear door finisher to the body.

7. Rear sill plate installation

1. Crew cab

1) Install the rear sill plate to the floor.
