1. Wiper motor inspection
1. On-vehicle inspection
1) Inspect for the following when the wiper switch is operated.
- There is no abnormal noise during the wiper motor rotation.
- When the wiper switch is in the LO position, the wiper motor performs LO-rotation.
- When the wiper switch is in the HI position, the wiper motor performs HI-rotation.
- When the wiper switch is in the OFF position, the wiper motor stops at the stop position.
2. Voltage inspection
1) Measure the voltage between the wiper motor connector terminal and the ground point using a DMM when the wiper switch is operated.
<Measurement conditions>
- The ignition switch is ON.
- The connector is connected.
