1) Upload Vehicle Configuration Data / Download Vehicle Configuration Data
The purpose of this function is to perform the work of taking out the necessary information from the old information module and writing the information into the new information module when the information module is replaced. Upload is performed before information module replacement and download is performed after information module replacement.
2) Program VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
The purpose of this function is to write the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) when the information module is replaced.
3) ECU Lock
The purpose of this function is to provide a security lock if the information module is replaced with a new one.
4) Program Vehicle Configuration Data
The purpose of this function is to program the following vehicle information when the information module is replaced, or when related parts are replaced. When replacing the information module, perform programming if the old information module cannot communicate with the scan tool.
5) Engine Type
The purpose of this function is to program the engine type to the information module. When replacing the information module, perform programming if the information module to be replaced could not communicate with the scan tool. Replace the engine body, and perform programming even if the engine type was changed.
6) Transmission Type
The purpose of this function is to program the transmission type to the information module. When replacing the information module, perform programming if the information module to be replaced could not communicate with the scan tool. Replace the transmission body, and perform programming even if the transmission type was changed.
7) Rear Tire Radius
The purpose of this function is to program the tire dynamic loaded radius into the information module. When replacing the information module, perform programming if the old information module cannot communicate with the scan tool. Perform programming as well if the rear tire size has changed due to the tire replacement.
8) Final Ratio
The purpose of this function is to program the final gear ratio to the information module. When replacing the information module, perform programming if the information module to be replaced could not communicate with the scan tool. Replace the final gear, and perform programming even if the gear ratio was changed.
9) Clear Mimamori Data (Used MIMAMORI Replacement)
The purpose of this function is to clear all the accumulated data which was recorded to the information module. If an information module is to be reused, perform this function to clear the data.
10) Clear Mimamori Data (Engine Replacement)
The purpose of this function is to clear all the engine DRM data recorded in the information module. If the engine is replaced, perform this function to clear the data.
11) Clear DRM Data
The purpose of this function is to clear the DRM data of each equipment recorded in the information module. If each equipment is replaced or the related equipment data is to be cleared, perform this function to clear the data.
If replacing the information module, it is necessary to write the vehicle information into the new information module.
The scan tool used for the replacement procedure must be the same from start to finish. If the scan tool is changed midway, information cannot be written correctly.
Note
1) Connect the scan tool to the DLC.
2) Turn ON the ignition switch.
3) Select "Clear Mimamori Data (Used MIMAMORI Replacement)" on the scan tool.
4) Clear the data by following the on-screen instructions.
5) After completing the clearing, go to Vehicle information download or Vehicle information programming.
Note
1) Select "Download Vehicle Configuration Data" on the scan tool.
2) Download the data to the information module by following the on-screen instructions.
3) After completing the download, go to VIN programming.
Note
1) Select "Program VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)" on the scan tool.
2) Following the on-screen instructions, operate the scan tool to program the VIN into the information module.
3) After completing the VIN programming, go to Vehicle information programming or ECU Lock.
Note
1) Select "Program Vehicle Configuration Data" on the scan tool.
2) Program the vehicle data by following the on-screen instructions.
3) After completion, check whether the displayed data and the programmed data match.
4) After checking the Program Vehicle Configuration Data, go to ECU Lock.
Note
1) Select "ECU Lock" on the scan tool.
2) Perform ECU Lock by following the on-screen instructions.
3) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds.
1) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
2) If a DTC is set, clear the DTC.
3) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
4) Turn ON the ignition switch.
5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
6) If a DTC is set, go to the applicable diagnosis.
Note
1) Connect the scan tool to the DLC.
2) Turn ON the ignition switch.
3) Select "Clear Mimamori Data (Engine Replacement)" on the scan tool.
4) Perform the data clearing by following the on-screen instructions.
