2. Side access panel installation

1) Install the side access panel to the body.

Caution

  • Do not reuse the bolt.

Tightening torque: 34 N・m { 3.5 kgf・m / 25 lb・ft }

2) Install the door check arm to the body.

Tightening torque: 24 N・m { 2.4 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft }

3. Door harness connect

1) Connect the door harness to the rear body harness.

4. Rear pillar trim cover installation

1) Install the rear pillar lower trim cover to the rear pillar.

2) Install the seat belt lower anchor bolt to the floor panel.

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft }

5. Rear end trim cover installation

1) Install the rear end trim cover to the body panel.

6. Front door finisher installation

1) Install the front door finisher to the body.

7. Front sill plate installation

1) Install the front sill plate to the floor.

8. SRS airbag setting

1. SRS reactivation

Warning

  • Never use SRS parts from other vehicles or models.
  • Make sure to check the part numbers and use the SRS components intended for the target vehicle.

1) Set the ignition switch to LOCK and remove the key.

Note

  • For models with the passive entry and start system, turn the power mode OFF.

2) Make sure that the connectors of the SRS components (SRS airbag, SRS control unit, seat belt with pretensioner, SRS coil, etc.) are fully connected.

3) Install the SRS fuse to the fuse relay box, and connect the battery cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

4) Turn ON the ignition switch and verify that the SRS airbag warning light turns OFF after illuminating for 6 seconds.

Caution

  • If the SRS airbag warning light does not operate properly, perform Diagnostic system check - SRS controls.

5) Referring to the following, perform the setting of the front door power window switch with AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN function.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9T.Glass, Windows, Mirrors front door power window switch setting".

9. Side access panel adjustment

1) Loosen the body bolt hinge and adjust the gap between the door and body.

2) Remove the striker cover from the head lining.

3) Move the door striker position up and down by adjusting the thickness of the adjust plate, and adjust the door closing appropriately.

Note

  • There are 2 types of adjust plates: 1 mm and 2 mm.

4) Loosen the door striker screw and adjust the position of the door striker by applying a wood block and tapping with a hammer.

5) Referring to the following, adjust the installation position of the side access panel.

Refer to "210.Body, Cab, Accessories 23B.Maintenance Information primary specifications of body, cab, accessories".

6) Tighten the body bolt hinge.

Tightening torque: 37 N・m { 3.8 kgf・m / 27 lb・ft }

7) Install the striker cover to the head lining.

Tightening torque: 1.5 N・m { 0.15 kgf・m / 13.3 lb・in }
