1. Fuel filler cap removal

1. Without key lock

1) Open the fuel lid.

2) Loosen the fuel filler cap gradually.

Caution

  • The fuel may burst out due to the pressure change in the fuel tank.

3) Remove the fuel filler cap from the filler neck.

Caution

  • Before opening the filler cap of the fuel tank, touch the metal parts of the vehicle to ground the body of the worker.
  • Seal the filler neck to prevent foreign material from entering.

2. With key lock

1) Open the cover and firmly insert the key.

2) Slowly turn the cap counterclockwise to remove from the filler neck.

Caution

  • The fuel may burst out due to the pressure change in the fuel tank.
  • Before opening the filler cap of the fuel tank, touch the metal parts of the vehicle to ground the body of the worker.
  • Do not turn the fuel filler cap with the key because doing so may break the key.
  • Seal the filler neck to prevent foreign material from entering.
