Idle gear reassembly (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. Idle gear reassembly

1) Secure idle gear A in a vise using an aluminum clasp, etc.

2) Install the sub gear and spring to the main gear.

Legend

  1. Sub gear (Front side)
  2. Spring
  3. Main gear
  4. Spring
  5. Sub gear (Rear side)

3) Install the snap ring to the main gear using snap ring pliers.

4) Install the M6 bolt to the main gear using the special tool.

Note

  • Check that the sub gear and main gear are fixed.
