1) Battery inspection
Check that the battery voltage is normal. If the battery voltage is not normal, charge or replace the battery.
2) Fuse inspection
Check that the fuses are normal. If there are any malfunctions such as a blowout in fuses, inspect and repair the cause of the blowout before replacing the fuses.
3) Ground inspection
Check that the ground point is normal. Repair and clean the ground point if improperly installed or significantly dirty.
4) BCM inspection
Perform the body control system inspection. Observe the DTC with a scan tool, and go to the applicable DTC diagnosis if a DTC is set.
5) Inspection of harness and connector
Check that the harnesses and connectors are normal. Inspect for poor connections at the connectors, worn or bent harnesses, or short circuits to other circuits in the wire inside the harness.
6) Electronic equipment inspection
Check for any interference from aftermarket electronic components such as wireless devices or lights. Turn OFF or remove any aftermarket electronic components to ensure that there is no influence on inspections or operations.
1) Wireless Access Module inspection
Perform the Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive entry start system]) inspection. Observe the DTC with a scan tool, and go to the applicable DTC diagnosis if a DTC is set.
2) Request switch inspection
Check the request switch for damage. Replace if an abnormal condition is found.
3) External antenna inspection
Check the external antenna for damage. Replace if an abnormal condition is found.
4) Electronic key remaining battery level inspection
Check whether the remaining battery level of the electronic key decreases. Replace the battery if the remaining battery level decreases.
5) Electronic key inspection
Check the electronic key for damage. Replace if an abnormal condition is found.
Inspect the following circuits for an open circuit, high resistance, a short to the power supply circuit, or a short to the ground circuit. If a malfunction is found in the circuit, repair or replace the applicable circuit.
