2. Door harness installation

1) Install the door harness to the side access panel.

3. Weather strip installation

1) Install the weather strip to the side access panel.

4. Check arm installation

1) Install the check arm to the side access panel.

Caution

  • Install with the surface marked SL facing upward for the left side and the surface marked SR facing upward for the right side.

Tightening torque: 7.0 N・m { 0.7 kgf・m / 62 lb・in }

5. Quarter window glass installation

1) Install the quarter window glass weather strip to the side access panel.

Note

  • Align the welded section of the quarter window glass weather strip with the notched section of the side access panel to install.

2) Install the window molding to the side access panel.

3) Install the quarter window glass to the side access panel.

Tightening torque: 2.0 N・m { 0.2 kgf・m / 18 lb・in }

Legend

4) Install the hinge to the quarter window glass.

Tightening torque: 8.9 N・m { 0.9 kgf・m / 79 lb・in }

6. Door lock installation

1) Install the door lock (lower) to the side access panel.

Tightening torque: 6.9 N・m { 0.7 kgf・m / 61 lb・in }

2) Install the door lock (upper) to the side access panel.

Tightening torque: 11 N・m { 1.1 kgf・m / 97 lb・in }

3) Connect the harness to the door lock.

4) Install the inside handle to the side accelerator panel.

Tightening torque: 11 N・m { 1.1 kgf・m / 97 lb・in }

5) Connect the door lock cable to the inside handle.

6) If the door lock (upper) and door lock (lower) are not simultaneously released when the inside door handle is pulled, open the clip lock of the door lock (lower) and adjust the door lock cable by moving it back or forth by approximately 3 teeth.

7. Bracket installation

1) Install the bracket to the side access panel.

8. Front tongue side seat belt installation

1) Connect the connector to the pretensioner.

2) Install the front tongue side seat belt to the side access panel.

Tightening torque: 8.2 N・m { 0.8 kgf・m / 73 lb・in } Upper side bolt

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft } Lower side bolt

9. Door trim pad installation

1) Install the door trim pad to the side access panel.

Legend

2) Install the seat belt upper anchor bolt to the side access panel.

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft }

3) Install the seat belt lower anchor bolt to the side access panel.

Tightening torque: 46 N・m { 4.7 kgf・m / 34 lb・ft }

10. Door pull case installation

1) Install the door pull case to the side access panel.

11. SRS airbag setting

1. SRS reactivation

Warning

  • Never use SRS parts from other vehicles or models.
  • Make sure to check the part numbers and use the SRS components intended for the target vehicle.

1) Set the ignition switch to LOCK and remove the key.

Note

  • For models with the passive entry and start system, turn the power mode OFF.

2) Make sure that the connectors of the SRS components (SRS airbag, SRS control unit, seat belt with pretensioner, SRS coil, etc.) are fully connected.

3) Install the SRS fuse to the fuse relay box, and connect the battery cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

4) Turn ON the ignition switch and verify that the SRS airbag warning light turns OFF after illuminating for 6 seconds.

Caution

  • If the SRS airbag warning light does not operate properly, perform Diagnostic system check - SRS controls.

5) Referring to the following, perform the setting of the front door power window switch with AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN function.
