VERIFY IF THE REMOTE TRANSMITTER BROUGHT INTO THE VEHICLE IS FOR THAT VEHICLE
•  Does the remote transmitter belong to another vehicle?
Yes
Have the correct transmitter for the vehicle ready inside the vehicle and go to Step 3.
No
Go to the next step.

REGISTER REMOTE TRANSMITTER
•  Perform the following work for each of the programmed remote transmitters.
―  Clear DTC for the immobilizer system using the M-MDS.
―  Perform the DTC inspection for the immobilizer system using the M-MDS.
•  Security indicator light: 15, DTC B13D3:51/P1260:00 displayed?
Yes
Replace the malfunctioning remote transmitter, then go to the next step.
No
Go to Step 4.

VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
•  Clear DTC for the immobilizer system using the M-MDS.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the immobilizer system using the M-MDS.
•  Security indicator light: 15, DTC B13D3:51/P1260:00 displayed?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction recurs, replace the start stop unit, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
