Transaxle Case Component Disassembly

1.  Install the bolt and nut to the transaxle case component as shown in the figure, and pinch the bolt using a vice to secure the transaxle component.

2.  Disassemble the transaxle case component in the order shown in the figure.

Funnel (primary shaft) removal note

1.  Remove the funnel from the transaxle case using a bar as shown in the figure.

Bearing outer race (secondary shaft No.2) removal note

1.  Remove the bearing outer race from the transaxle case using the SST.

Bearing outer race (differential), shim removal note

1.  Using a punch, tap the shim from the oil seal side to remove the bearing outer race and the shim.

Caution
•  When using a punch, be careful not to scratch or damage the transaxle case.


Clutch Housing Component Disassembly

1.  Disassemble the clutch housing component in the order shown in the figure.

Roller bearing removal note

1.  Remove the roller bearing using a SST.
