Purpose, Function

• Prevents flow-back of the vacuum generated in the vacuum chamber. (Fuel injector (2pin type))

• Prevents flow-back of the vacuum generated by the vacuum pump operation. (Fuel injector (6pin type))

Construction

• The check valve is installed to the vacuum pipe bracket on the side of the turbocharger. (Fuel injector (2pin type))

• The check valve is installed to the vacuum hose near the compressor bypass solenoid valve. (Fuel injector (6pin type))

Operation

Fuel injector (2pin type)

• The one-way valve is opened by the vacuum generated from the vacuum pump operation to introduce vacuum to the vacuum chamber.

• Pressure from the vacuum chamber does not leak because of the one-way valve effect.

Fuel injector (6pin type)

• The one-way valve is opened by the vacuum generated from the vacuum pump operation to introduce vacuum to the compressor bypass solenoid valve side.
