Purpose, Function

•  Supplies power to the PCM for the fuel injector and spill valve control solenoid valve operation.

Construction

•  The fuel injector relay is installed in the relay and fuse block.

•  A normally open relay has been adopted for the fuel injector relay. When electric current flows to the coil, the contact point is drawn by the generated electromagnetic power and switches on.

Operation

1.  The contact point is on (1) when the fuel injector relay coil is energized by the battery power from the main relay.

2.  Power is supplied (2) to the PCM for the fuel injector and the spill valve control solenoid valve operation.
