Purpose, Function

•  The fuel pump control module controls the voltage applied to the fuel pump for reducing fuel pump load and improving fuel economy.
•  Controls the voltage applied to the fuel pump based on the control signal from the PCM.

Construction

•  The fuel pump control module is installed below the rear seat.

Operation

•  Controls the voltage applied to the fuel pump based on the control signal from the PCM.

•  In addition, an on-board diagnostic function is equipped, and if there is a malfunction in the fuel pump control module, a diagnostic signal is sent to the PCM.
•  The PCM stores a DTC if necessary according to the received diagnostic signal.

Fail-safe

P025B:00
•  Stops fuel pump control. (If overheating is detected in fuel pump control module)
P0629:00
•  Stops the fuel pump control.
