Purpose, Function

•  The SCR relay supplies power to the PCM for the dosing control unit operation.

Construction

•  The SCR relay is installed to the relay and fuse block.

•  A normal open relay has been adopted for the SCR relay. When electric current flows to the coil, the contact point is drawn by the generated electromagnetic power and switches on.

Operation

1.  The contact point is on (1) when the SCR relay coil is energized by the battery power from the main relay.

2.  Power is supplied (2) for the dosing control unit operation.
