Construction

•  The SCR converter is installed at the rear of the urea injector.

Operation

•  The urea mixer mixes urea and exhaust gas and sends it to the SCR converter.

•  The SCR converter stores the ammonia produced by the processes of pyrolysis and hydrolysis in the SCR catalyst. Noxious substances in the exhaust gas are converted to non-noxious nitrogen and water by utilizing the ammonia as a reducing agent.
