Purpose
Cruise main indication (white)
• The cruise main indication (white) is displayed on the instrument cluster multi-information display/LCD while the cruise control system is on stand-by to inform the driver that the cruise control system is on stand-by.
Cruise set indication (green)
• The cruise set indication (green) is displayed on the instrument cluster multi-information display/LCD while the cruise control system is operating to inform the driver that the cruise control system is operating.
Function
• The indication conditions for the cruise main indication (white) and cruise set indication (green) are as follows.
*1 :Without adjustable speed limiter
*2 :With adjustable speed limiter
*3 :The PCM stores the previous set speed
Construction
• The cruise main indication (white) and cruise set indication (green) are built into the instrument cluster.
Operation
1. The instrument cluster receives (1) a cruise main indication (white) on request signal or a cruise set indication (green) on request signal from the PCM via CAN communication.
2. The instrument cluster displays (2) the cruise control system status on the multi-information display/LCD based on the cruise main indication (white) on request signal or the cruise set indication (green) on request signal.
