Purpose/Function

• The drive selection switch detects the switching operation of the drive selection.

• The drive selection switch signal sent to the instrument cluster.

Construction

• The drive selection switch is located shift panel.

• A toggle-type switch has been adopted for the drive selection switch.

Operation

1. When the drive selection switch is pressed to the SPORT side (front side), contact point SW1 of the drive selection switch closes, and contact point SW2 closes when the switch is pressed to the side (rear side).

2. The instrument cluster detects the sports mode selection condition based on the open/close of contact switches SW1 and SW2 of the drive selection switch.
