HEATER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T]

L.H.D.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

3.  Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

4.  Remove the heater hose.

5.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

6.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

R.H.D.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Plug hole plate (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)

(2)  Front under cover No.2 (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove nuts A from underside of vehicle.

5.  Remove nuts B from top side of vehicle.

6.  Remove the insulator.

7.  Detach the clips.

8.  Remove the bolt.

9.  Disconnect the engine ground.

10.  Remove the clip for the vehicle wiring harness connector.

11.  Remove the bolts.

12.  Set the PCM out of the way.

13.  Remove the nut.

14.  Remove the cooler hose (LO) from the clip.

15.  Set the cooler hose (LO) out of the way.

Caution

•  When setting the cooler hose (LO), only bend the flexible hose part. If force is applied to areas other than the flexible hose, the pipe will bend and could be damaged.

16.  Remove the heater hose.

17.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

18.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].)
