•  The buckle switch signals the SAS control module as to whether the seat belt is inserted into the buckle or not. (front buckle)

•  The buckle switch signals the rear body control module (RBCM) as to whether the seat belt is inserted into the buckle or not. (rear buckle (With rear seat belt reminder system))

•  The buckle switch sends a seat belt status signal to the SAS control module. (front buckle)

•  The buckle switch sends a seat belt status signal to the rear body control module (RBCM). (rear buckle (With rear seat belt reminder system))

•  The buckle switch turns on (contact point: Closed)/off (contact point: Open) according to the seat belt insertion condition.

•  The buckle switch is integrated with the following buckle.

•  When the seat belt is not inserted into the buckle, the switch turns on (contact point: Closed).

•  When the seat belt is inserted into the buckle, the switch turns off (contact point: Open).
