―  Module communication error (MS-CAN)

―  Communication error with instrument cluster

Detection condition

•  U0010:88

―  Parking assist unit (ultrasonic) detects the CAN bus communication line (MS-CAN) malfunction 10 times continuously with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

•  U0155:00

―  Parking assist unit (ultrasonic) cannot receive the CAN signal from the instrument cluster for 5 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

Fail-safe

•  U0010:88

―  Inhibits the smart city brake support [reverse] (SCBS R). (with smart city brake support [reverse] (SCBS R))

•  U0155:00

―  Inhibits the smart city brake support [reverse] (SCBS R). (with smart city brake support [reverse] (SCBS R))

Possible cause

•  Malfunction in CAN bus communication line

•  Malfunction in CAN line between instrument cluster and parking assist unit (ultrasonic)
