2.  Operate the seat warmer switch to turn on the seat warmer.

3.  Touch the seat cushion and the seat back to verify a temperature increase.

4.  If a temperature increase cannot be verified, go to the resistance inspection. (See Resistance Inspection.)

Resistance Inspection

LH-side

Seat cushion side
1.  Switch the ignition to off.
2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
3.  Disconnect the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector.
4.  Inspect for continuity between the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector terminal G and H.

―  If not as specified, replace the rear seat cushion pad. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5.  Measure the resistance between the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector terminal E and D, and verify that the condition is as indicated in the table.

•  If the thermistor characteristic is not as shown in the graph, replace the rear seat cushion pad. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Seat back side
4.  Inspect for continuity between the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector (short cord) terminal A and B.
