REAR SEAT WARMER UNIT INSPECTION

Simple Inspection
1. Place a cooling agent on the seat cushion (thermistor).
2. Operate the seat warmer switch to turn on the seat warmer.
3. Touch the seat cushion and the seat back to verify a temperature increase.
4. If a temperature increase cannot be verified, go to the resistance inspection. (See Resistance Inspection.)
Resistance Inspection
LH-side

Seat cushion side

1. Switch the ignition to off.
3. Disconnect the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector.
4. Inspect for continuity between the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector terminal G and H.

5. Measure the resistance between the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector terminal E and D, and verify that the condition is as indicated in the table.

1. Switch the ignition to off.
3. Disconnect the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector.
4. Inspect for continuity between the rear seat warmer unit (LH) connector (short cord) terminal A and B.

1. Switch the ignition to off.
3. Disconnect the rear seat warmer unit (RH) connector.
4. Inspect for continuity between the rear seat warmer unit (RH) connector (short cord) terminal A and B.

5. Measure the resistance between the rear seat warmer unit (RH) connector terminal C and D, and verify that the condition is as indicated in the table.

1. Switch the ignition to off.
3. Disconnect the rear seat warmer unit (RH) connector.
4. Inspect for continuity between the rear seat warmer unit (RH) connector (short cord) terminal A and B.
