Purpose

• The rear wiper motor operates the rear wiper arm and blade using the motor rotation.

Function

• The rear wiper motor generates rotation force using the current which is input from the rear body control module (RBCM) according to the rear wiper and washer switch operation.

Structure/Construction

• The rear wiper motor is located in the liftgate.

Operation

1. The rear wiper motor rotates (1) using the electrical current which is input from the rear body control module (RBCM) according to the rear wiper and washer switch operation.

2. When the motor rotates, rotation force is transmitted to the rear wiper arm and blade to operate (2) it.

3. When the rear wiper arm and blade is operated to the park position, the auto stop switch turns off (3) and the rear wiper arm and blade stops (4) at the park position.
