Caution

•  Remove the curtain air bag module to prevent damage before servicing.

•  Avoid cutting with a blowtorch or similar tools as the insulator is flammable shown in the figure

1.  Rough cut the 2 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure.

2.  Drill the 94 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure.

3.  Remove the cabin side (outer) (front pillar (outer)).

4.  Drill the 22 locations indicated by (C) shown in the figure.

5.  Drill the 3 locations indicated by (D) from room side shown in the figure.

6.  Remove the front pillar reinforcement (lower) and hinge reinforcement as a single unit.

7.  Drill the 22 locations indicated by (E) from room side shown in the figure.

8.  Remove the front pillar reinforcement (upper).

9.  Drill the 18 locations indicated by (F) shown in the figure.

10.  Remove the front pillar (inner).

11.  Rough cut the location indicated by (G) shown in the figure.
