Removal Procedure

SKYACTIV-D 2.2 (European (L.H.D. U.K.) specs.)

1.  Rough cut the location indicated by (A) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  When rough cut the location indicated by (A) shown in the figure, strength drop of the vehicle might decrease. Not injure the crossmember No.4 and crossmember No.4 (rear) component.

2.  Drill the 35 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  When drilling the 35 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure, do not drill a hole all the way through or there could be a problem when installing the new part.

3.  Remove the trunk floor panel.
