Installation Procedure

SKYACTIV-D 2.2 (European (L.H.D. U.K.) specs.)

1.  Drill holes for the plug welding before installing the new parts.

2.  When installing new parts, measure and adjust the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.

3.  After temporarily installing new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.  Before installing a new trunk floor panel to the vehicle side, spot weld the 19 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure and install the urea tank bracket (front), insulator bracket, and the urea tank bracket (rear).

5.  Fillet weld the location indicated by (B) shown in the figure.

Note

•  After fillet weld the location indicated by (B) shown in the figure, apply body sealing to the joint of the trunk floor panel for rust prevention.

6.  Cut and join the indicated by (C) shown in the figure.

7.  Plug weld the 35 locations indicated by (D) shown in the figure then install the trunk floor panel.
