Purpose, Function

• Prevents flow-back of the vacuum generated in the vacuum chamber.

Construction

• The check valve is installed to the vacuum pipe bracket on the side of the turbocharger.

• The check valve consists of the body, cover, and umbrella seal.

• A one-way valve is integrated in the check valve.

Operation

• The one-way valve is opened by the vacuum generated from the vacuum pump operation to introduce vacuum to the vacuum chamber.

• Pressure from the vacuum chamber does not leak because of the one-way valve effect.
