Wheel and Tire Installation

1.  When installing the wheels and tires, tighten the wheel nuts to the following tightening torque in the order shown in the figure.

Suspension Links Removal/Installation

1.  For the joint sections with rubber bushings, raise the vehicle using a lift, and then temporarily tighten the installation bolts and nuts. Lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten them to the specified tightening torque.

Connector Disconnection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable before performing any work that requires handling of connectors. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) Caution

•  After replacing the 4WD control module, always perform the 4WD control module configuration to prevent a system malfunction.

1.  If the 4WD control module has been newly replaced, perform the 4WD control module configuration. (See 4WD CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION.)

2.  If the coupling component is replaced, write the coupling characteristic value. (See COUPLING COMPONENT CALIBRATION DATA WRITING.)
