THEFT-DETERRENT SIREN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the front combination light (LH). (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the screws.

5.  Remove the bracket.

6.  Disconnect the connector.

7.  While pressing the tabs of the clip in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tab from the bracket.

8.  Remove the clip.

9.  Remove the bolts.

10.  Remove the theft-deterrent siren.

11.  Disconnect the connector from the theft-deterrent siren.

12.  Remove the short wiring harness.

13.  Remove the nut.

14.  Remove the theft-deterrent siren.

15.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
