PARKING ASSIST UNIT (OPTICAL) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the glove compartment. (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the bolts.

4.  While pressing the clip tab in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tab from the parking assist unit (optical).

5.  Remove the clip.

6.  Disconnect the connector.

7.  Remove the parking assist unit (optical).

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
