DTC P1282:00 |
Common rail control system problem |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• With the following conditions met, the fuel pressure value in the common rail exceeds 250 MPa {2,549 kgf/cm2, 36,260 psi} or exceeds the fuel pressure value calculated by the PCM based on the engine speed for a continuous 1 s.
Diagnostic support note
• This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
• The check engine light illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA/Snapshot data is available.
• DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
|
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
|
• Limits the fuel pressure. (High pressure)
• Limits the engine torque/limits the maximum engine speed.
• Inhibits the automatic diesel particulate filter regeneration control.
• Inhibits the manual diesel particulate filter regeneration control.
• Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
• Inhibits the EGR control.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Fuel filter clogging
• Fuel pressure relief valve malfunction
• Fuel pressure sensor (integrated with fuel injector No.2/No.3) malfunction
• Suction control valve malfunction (stuck open)
• Fuel pipe crushing or breakage (poor contact)
• PCM malfunction
