Purpose

• The drive mode can be switched by operating the Mi-Drive switch.

Function

• The instrument cluster detects the Mi-Drive switch operation. (See Mazda intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive) SYSTEM)

Construction

• The Mi-Drive switch is located on the shift panel.

Operation

1. When the Mi-Drive switch is operated upward, the SW1 contact point is closed (1), and when it is operated downward, the SW2 contact point is closed (2).

2. The instrument cluster detects (3) the drive mode selection condition based on the open/close of contact points SW1 and SW2 of the Mi-Drive switch.
