Purpose
• The driver is notified of the Mi-Drive operation status by displaying information related to Mi-Drive in the instrument cluster.
Function
Select mode indicator
• When selecting a mode other than normal mode, the currently selected drive mode is displayed.
• When the drive mode change is canceled, the select mode indicator flashes. (Instrument cluster type B only)
Multi-information display (type A only)
• The following information is displayed.

― Graphics corresponding to drive mode
― Selectable drive mode list*1
― Notifications corresponding to Mi-Drive operation status *2
*1 :If a drive mode cannot be selected for whatever reason, that drive mode is highlighted in light grey.
*2 :When the drive mode change is canceled, a notification is displayed and a notification sound is activated.
Construction
• The select mode indicator is built into the instrument cluster.
Operation
Normal
• When the Mi-Drive switch is operated, the instrument cluster detects the switch operation information.
• The instrument cluster switches the drive mode based on the detected switch operation information and the drive mode switching permit/hold signal sent by the PCM.
• The instrument cluster changes the display according to the drive mode.
Drive mode switching is canceled or Mi-Drive is inhibited
• When the Mi-Drive switch is operated, the instrument cluster detects the switch operation information.
• If the drive mode switching inhibition conditions or the Mi-Drive inhibition conditions are met, the instrument cluster cancels the drive mode switching or forcibly switches to normal mode.
• The instrument cluster displays a message on the multi-information display to notify the driver that the operation was canceled. (Instrument cluster type A only)
• The instrument cluster flashes the select mode indicator to notify the driver that the operation was canceled. (Instrument cluster type B only)
