POWER SEAT SWITCH INSPECTION

Warning
•  Handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). 1.  Switch the ignition off (LOCK).

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the front seat side cover. (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the power seat switch. (See POWER SEAT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Inspect for continuity between the power seat switch connector terminals using an ohmmeter.

•  If not as specified, replace the power seat switch. (See POWER SEAT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
