Operation

Open operation

1.  By rotating the drive gear in the sunroof motor, the drive cables operate in conjunction with the rotation.

2.  When the drive cables operate, the sliders move to the rear of the front guide grooves, and the front guides and glass panel lower.

3.  When the front guides lower, the securing pins installed to the front guides are released and the glass panel opens by the front guides sliding the frames corresponding to the movement of the sliders.

Close operation

1.  By rotating the drive gear in the sunroof motor, the drive cables operate in conjunction with the rotation.

2.  When the drive cables operate, the sliders move forward. Because the securing pins for the front guides are in the frames and the rise in the front guides is suppressed at this time, the slider cannot move in the front guide grooves and the front guides slide.

3.  When the front guides slide to the close positions, the sliders move to the front of the front guide grooves, and the front guides and glass panel rise and close. Due to this, the securing pins are engaged with the frames.
