Operation
Operation conditions
• The Wireless Charger (Qi) enables charging when all of the following conditions are met.
-
― Engine is running
― All doors and liftgate are closed
― Charger is on stand-by (LED indicator: On (white))
1. The Wireless Charger (Qi) turns on (1) when the ignition is switched to ON (engine on).
2. The Wireless Charger (Qi) receives an operation signal from the LF control unit and performs charging control and LED indicator on/flash control (2).
3. When the Wireless Charger (Qi) detects that a device compliant with the Qi Wireless Charging standard is placed on the charging area, it starts charging.
Fail-safe
• The charging stops if the Wireless Charger (Qi) detects that it has an internal malfunction, or that the LF control unit operation signal or the CAN signal is interrupted.
