EMERGENCY CALL MICROPHONE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front map light. (See FRONT MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  While pressing the emergency call microphone tabs in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, pull the emergency call microphone in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure to detach the emergency call microphone tabs from the map light.

4.  While pulling the emergency call microphone tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the emergency call microphone in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure to detach the emergency call microphone tab from the map light.

5.  Remove the emergency call microphone.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
