― Shake the wiring harness or connector of the electrical component which is suspected to be the cause of the malfunction, and inspect for occurrence of any malfunction or DTCs.

Effects of Non-Genuine, After-market Electrical Components
• A malfunction may occur due to noise interference from a non-genuine, after-market electrical component.
• If a non-genuine, after-market electrical component is installed, disconnect the connector or unplug from the 12 V accessory socket and verify that the malfunction recurs. If the malfunction does not recur, it is highly possible that the malfunction is caused by the non-genuine, after-market electrical component.
