Caution

• Parts for engines manufactured in Mexico and Hiroshima cannot be used interchangeably as the engine will not operate correctly resulting in a serious malfunction. To prevent this, when replacing parts refer to the 'SPECIFICATION IDENTIFICATION' table below and verify the engine's place of manufacture before performing the servicing. (See SPECIFICATION IDENTIFICATION)

1.Assemble in the order indicated in the table.

Valve Seal Assembly Note

1.Press the valve seal onto the valve guide by hand.

2.Lightly tap the SST using a plastic hammer.

Valve Keeper Assembly Note

1.Install the valve keeper using the SSTs.
