1.Install the connecting rod bearing and connecting rod cap. (See CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY (II) [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.Measure the connecting rod large end side clearance.

• If it exceeds the maximum specification, replace the piston, piston pin, snap ring and connecting rod.

3.Remove the connecting rod bearing and connecting rod cap. (See CYLINDER HEAD DISASSEMBLY (I) [MZR-CD 2.2].)
