Operation
• When the engine coolant temperature reaches
80—84°C {176—183°F}, the valve starts opening to allow engine coolant to flow from the radiator stabilizing the engine coolant temperature. When the engine coolant temperature decreases to
approx. 75°C {167°F}, the valve closes to stop the engine coolant flow from the radiator.
