• The powertrain mechanism of the FS5A-EL type consists of four pairs of clutches, band brake, two pairs of brakes, two pairs of one-way clutches, and three pairs of single type planetary gears.

• Fixes the rotation of the front internal gear.

• Fixes the rotation of the secondary sun gear.

• Locks the counterclockwise rotation of the front internal gear. (Directions of rotation is viewed from the torque converter.)
One-way clutch No.2
OWC2
• Locks the counterclockwise rotation of the secondary sun gear. (Directions of rotation is viewed from the torque converter.)
Single type planetary gear
Front planetary gear
• Converts the transmitted driving force of the turbine shaft and transmits it to the primary gear
Rear planetary gear
• Converts the transmitted driving force of the turbine shaft and transmits it to the primary gear
Secondary planetary gear
• Converts the transmitted driving force of the turbine shaft and transmits it to the output gear
