• Communication between the Bluetooth-enabled device and the Bluetooth unit is performed via radio waves. The frequency range is 2.4 GHz, and transmission is possible within an approx. 10 m (32 ft) area.
• Transmission between the Bluetooth unit, the vehicle’s audio and the multi information display is performed via the CAN system.
• The vehicle’s audio outputs the signals from the Bluetooth unit to the speaker (without Bose
®) or the audio amplifier (with Bose
®).
• The vehicle’s microphone is connected to the Bluetooth unit. The Bluetooth unit sends the voice spoken into the vehicle’s microphone to the Bluetooth-enabled device.
