SCR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATES CONTINUOUSLY
DESCRIPTION
• SCR warning light illuminates continuously after engine starts, because of the AdBlue® supply begins to run out.
• Possible travel distance is displayed on AdBlue® gauge.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• AdBlue® residual quantity in urea tank is low.
• Instrument cluster malfunction

Turn on and off all warning light and indicator light using M-MDS active command mode function WL+IL.

Do the SCR warning light turn on and off according to simulation function?
Yes
Refill the AdBlue® to urea tank till filled up.

No
Replace the instrument cluster.
(See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Verify test results.
• If normal, return to the diagnostic index to service any additional symptoms. (See SYMPTOM DIAGNOSTIC INDEX [MZR-CD 2.2].)
• If the malfunction remains, inspect the related Service Information and perform repair or diagnosis.
― If the vehicle is repaired, troubleshooting completed.
― If the vehicle is not repaired or additional diagnostic information is not available, reprogram the PCM if later calibration is available.
