Resistance Inspection

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

3.Disconnect the fuel injector connectors.

4.Measure the resistance of the fuel injector.

Approx. 0.45 ohms [20°C {68°F}]
• If not as specified, replace the fuel injector. (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
