Integrated rollover valve

Note

• The check valve (two-way) cannot be disassembled and inspected as it is built into the rollover valve.

1.Perform the fuel tank inspection. (See FUEL TANK INSPECTION [L3 Turbo].)

• Remove the evaporative hose with the check valve (two-way). (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

Integrated evaporative hose

Note

• The check valve (two-way) cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the check valve (two-way), replace it together with the evaporative hose as a single unit.

1.Remove the evaporative hose with the check valve (two-way). (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

2.Disconnect the evaporative hose as A shown in the figure.

3.Apply pressure to port B and verify that there is airflow with a vacuum of 3.8 kPa or more.

• If there is no airflow, replace the evaporative hose with the check valve (two-way).

4.Apply negative pressure port B and verify that there is airflow.

• If there is no airflow, replace the evaporative hose with the check valve (two-way).
