Resistance Inspection

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

3.Disconnect the intake shutter valve connector.

4.Measure the resistance between the intake shutter valve terminals A and B.

0.3—100 ohms [20°C {68°F}]
• If not within the specification, replace the intake shutter valve. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)
