1.Remove the urea tank, urea pump and the wiring harness as a single unit. (See UREA TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.Remove in the order indicated in the table.

3.Install in the reverse order of removal.

Urea Pump Removal Note

1.Clean the surface of the urea tank.

2.Disconnect the connectors from the urea pump.

3.Remove the urea pump from the urea tank.

Urea Pump Installation Note

Caution

• If the O-ring is installed with urea crystals in the O-ring installation area, it could damage the O-ring or pinch the O-ring resulting in a seal malfunction. Therefore, if urea crystals are in the O-ring installation area of the urea pump and urea tank, flush the area with fresh water.

1.Install a new O-ring No.2 to the urea pump.

2.Install a new O-ring No.1 to the urea tank.

3.Install the urea pump to the urea tank.

4.Tighten the urea pump installation bolts.
